MIT Sloan's look at global entrepreneurship examines how business environments and institutional frameworks shape new venture creation across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, with particular attention to blockchain technology. Classroom work centers on case studies of entrepreneurial situations in different regions, and student groups select a specific geographic or industry cluster to research in depth, analyzing what further development of that venture ecosystem would require. Materials available through MIT OpenCourseWare include the syllabus, case materials, and assignment descriptions used in the actual MIT Sloan course. The course is free to access and study; no certificate is offered through OpenCourseWare. It suits learners interested in comparative business environments and venture creation outside a single national context.
