Freshman Organic Chemistry II (CHEM 125B)
Yale's continuation of Freshman Organic Chemistry I covers the theories of structure and mechanism that carry organic chemistry into more advanced territory. Lectures, recorded from a Yale College course taught three times weekly, move through simple and complex reaction mechanisms, spectroscopy, and organic synthesis, closing with a look at molecules found in nature. The course assumes strong prior preparation in chemistry and physics and builds directly on the concepts from Part I.
