Ben Polak, professor of economics and management at Yale, walks through dominance, backward induction, Nash equilibrium, evolutionary stability, and signaling using games played live with the class alongside examples from politics, sports, and business. Recorded on campus in Fall 2007 for Open Yale Courses, the 24 lectures move from the median-voter theorem in lecture 3 through repeated games and the winner's curse in the final sessions, with two exams posted alongside the video. Watching requires only introductory microeconomics and one-variable calculus.
