Spanish I
An introductory Spanish course from MIT OpenCourseWare built around 26 half-hour video episodes that follow a continuing story, used alongside a companion textbook and workbook. Students also work through an integrated audio program and, in the original classroom setting, practice pronunciation, grammar, and conversation in pairs and small groups, with instruction conducted mostly in Spanish. The course assumes no prior knowledge of the language and covers all four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
