MIT OpenCourseWare offers this four week noncredit course designed for current and future educators who want to bring sustainability into their teaching. The materials cover how to align classroom activities and lesson plans with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, giving instructors a framework for weaving environmental, social, economic, and health themes into existing subjects rather than treating sustainability as a standalone topic. Alongside the weekly course content, MIT provides a linked online resource library where educators can search for activities and lessons already mapped to specific SDGs, making it useful as an ongoing reference after the course ends. The course is aimed at K-12 and higher education instructors looking to build sustainability literacy across an academic program rather than in a single class.
