Advanced System Architecture
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this graduate-level course on the theory and practice of complex engineering system architecture. Students review foundational and recent research on system architecture and complexity, examining how theoretical frameworks originated and where they have been applied in practice. The course covers key analytical methods used to study large engineering systems and asks students to determine what level of qualitative and quantitative observation is needed to apply these frameworks successfully to a given system.
