The final installment in MIT's three-course sequence on classroom teaching practice, following 11.129 and 11.130. The course covers educational psychology as it applies to real classrooms, methods for identifying and using instructional resources, ways to integrate technology meaningfully into lessons, and strategies for motivating students. It also addresses differentiated instruction, tailoring lessons to students with different needs and abilities, and closes with practical guidance on finding a teaching job. Materials come from MIT OpenCourseWare and include syllabus, readings, and assignments used in the original MIT class. The course is aimed at students preparing to teach and builds directly on concepts introduced in the earlier two courses in the sequence, making it most useful to those who have completed them or have equivalent background in teaching practicum work.
