Globalization, Migration, and International Relations
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this political science course tracing the evolution of international interactions and examining globalization's scale and scope. Organized in three parts, it builds theoretical, empirical, and policy perspectives on the sources and consequences of globalization, with particular attention to migration and the assumption that population movement matters significantly to policy outcomes. The course looks at emergent global structures and cross-border flows of goods and services, and works through the tension between macro-level policy and micro-level behavior.
