Introduction to MATLAB
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this introductory MATLAB course, originally taught as a non-credit program during MIT's Independent Activities Period in January 2008. Aimed at students with no programming background, it covers variables, arrays, conditional statements, loops, functions, and plotting, following chapters 2 through 5 of the official MATLAB Manual from The MathWorks. Materials include course notes and assignments that build hands-on familiarity with the MATLAB environment. By the end, students should be able to write basic MATLAB programs for their own work and have a foundation for moving on to other languages like Java, C++, or Python.
