Spanish III
An intermediate Spanish course from MIT OpenCourseWare focused on grammar review, expanded vocabulary, and essay writing in Spanish. Conversation and group projects are emphasized alongside cultural material: readings on Latin American and Spanish literature and art, music videos, interviews, and films including El espinazo del diablo, Juana la loca, and Maria llena eres de gracia. Students also take part in the MITUPV Exchange project, a multimedia website connecting university life at MIT with the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and other institutions, giving practice in real communication with Spanish-speaking students. Course materials include the syllabus, assignments, and activity guides as published by MIT OpenCourseWare, free to access with no certificate offered.
