Special Problems in Architectural Design
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this advanced architecture studio seminar, a continuation of a fall-semester course, focused on digital media as a tool of architectural representation. Lessons examine how drawings, models, and digital tools do more than translate an idea into built form: they actively shape the meaning of a design as architects manipulate the relationship between concept and medium. The course runs alongside a design studio, feeding material into studio work and drawing from it in turn.
