System Dynamics II
This MIT Sloan School course continues 15.871, deepening the systems thinking and simulation modeling skills needed to apply system dynamics in complex organizational settings. Students work with simulation models, management flight simulators, and case studies of real corporate and policy interventions to practice formulating and testing models against qualitative and quantitative data. The course pays particular attention to implementation: how modelers work with senior executives to translate model insights into organizational change that actually sticks. Materials available through MIT OpenCourseWare include lecture notes, assignments, and case studies, following MIT's standard open license. No certificate is offered, but the full curriculum is free to access and use for self-study or teaching.
