A graduate-level introduction to artificial intelligence from MIT, taught jointly with the Singapore-MIT Alliance as SMA 5504. The course covers representation and inference in first-order logic, deterministic and decision-theoretic planning techniques, basic supervised learning methods, and Bayesian network inference and learning. Materials on MIT OpenCourseWare include lecture notes, problem sets, and exams that walk through these topics in depth, following the structure of the original MIT graduate course. There is no instructor interaction or certificate, but the full set of course materials is available for self-study, making it a solid foundation for anyone wanting a rigorous, logic-and-probability-based treatment of classical AI techniques rather than a survey of modern deep learning methods.
