Advanced Communication for Leaders
MIT Sloan School of Management's course on interpersonal and oral communication skills for leaders. Topics include presenting to a hostile audience, running productive meetings, active listening, and contributing to group decision-making. Students take part in team-run classes on selected communication topics and complete an individual analysis of leadership qualities and characteristics. Coursework culminates in an oral presentation and an executive summary written for a business audience. Materials are available through MIT OpenCourseWare under a Creative Commons license, including syllabus and assignment descriptions, free to access with no certificate offered.
