Electronic Feedback Systems
Feedback control theory as applied to electronic and electromechanical systems, taught through a series of MIT lectures. The course builds the analytical framework behind classical feedback design, covering how feedback affects performance, reliability, and cost in real designs. Concepts are illustrated through a range of experiments and demonstration systems, chosen to show that the same analytic methods apply across very different hardware. Materials come from MIT OpenCourseWare and include lecture content and demonstration-based examples, free to access under a Creative Commons license. Suited to students with a background in electrical engineering who want a grounding in control theory before tackling more advanced coursework in circuits or systems design.
