Introductory Quantum Mechanics II
This MIT OpenCourseWare course covers time-dependent quantum mechanics and its application to spectroscopy. Topics include perturbation theory, two-level systems, light-matter interactions, relaxation processes in quantum systems, correlation functions, linear response theory, and nonlinear spectroscopy. The course follows a lecture-based format with problem sets and exams drawn from MIT's chemistry curriculum, building on a first course in quantum mechanics toward the tools used in modern molecular spectroscopy.
