This MIT Sloan School of Management course examines the human processes underlying organizational behavior and change, building on the foundation set in Leading Organizations I. Through lectures, class discussions, and structured exercises, students study the psychological and sociological forces that shape how organizations function and resist change, forces that are often present but hard to observe directly. The goal is to make these dynamics visible, both in oneself and in others, so students can better anticipate and manage organizational change. Materials are published through MIT OpenCourseWare under a Creative Commons license and typically include syllabus, readings, and assignment materials from an actual MIT Sloan course. No certificate is offered, but the full course content is free to access and use for self-study.
