MIT OpenCourseWare's year-long core sequence for aerospace engineering majors, covering Materials and Structures, Computers and Programming, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Propulsion, and Signals and Systems as one integrated curriculum rather than six separate classes. Lecture notes, problem sets, exams, and design-build-fly project materials are included, along with the recurring Systems Problems that force students to apply several disciplines at once to a single engineering scenario. The course tracks how MIT's own instructors sequence the material across four terms, showing where structural analysis meets fluid dynamics or where signals theory underpins propulsion control. Materials are provided as-is for self-study, free of charge, under MIT's open license, with no certificate offered.
