Electromagnetism II
A survey course from MIT OpenCourseWare continuing the electromagnetism sequence that begins with 8.02. Building on introductory electricity and magnetism, the course covers electrostatics, magnetostatics, and the electromagnetic properties of matter before moving into time-dependent fields and Maxwell's equations in full. It works through electromagnetic wave propagation, the emission, absorption, and scattering of radiation, and closes with relativistic electrodynamics and mechanics. Materials include lecture notes, problem sets, and exams typical of MIT OCW physics offerings, letting a self-study student work through the same assignments used in the on-campus course.
