System Dynamics Self Study
MIT's Sloan School of Management offers this self-paced collection for learning system dynamics without a classroom. The core material is a set of papers and computer exercises called Road Maps, organized as a guided sequence through the field's foundational concepts, feedback loops, stocks and flows, and simulation modeling. Alongside the Road Maps sit assignments with worked solutions drawn from an earlier guided-study version of the course, letting learners check their own progress. Though MIT lists the level as undergraduate or graduate, the material is written to be accessible from advanced K-12 students up through corporate executives wanting to understand dynamic systems.
