Executing Strategy for Results
MIT Sloan School of Management course that challenges the traditional, mechanistic view of strategy execution. Students examine organizations as networks of teams that continuously adapt to market conditions and to each other, using the Flexible Execution Model, a framework of seven elements shaping how well strategy gets carried out. The course covers practical tools leaders use to align teams around strategic priorities and introduces methods for measuring execution using data sources such as employee surveys and Glassdoor reviews. Materials include MIT OpenCourseWare lecture notes, readings, and assignments, free to access under a Creative Commons license, aimed at advanced business students studying organizational strategy and management.
